ROADMASTER® A1
ROADMASTER® A1 is a single pack, fast dry road marking paint based on a durable alkyd modified chlorinated rubber resin. It may be applied to bitumen and concrete surfaces without bleeding or discolouration, providing clean lines of high visibility. ROADMASTER® A1 lines may be beaded to impart reflectance and improve night visibility by dispersing suitable glass beads immediately onto the wet paint. ROADMASTER® A1 is recommended for marking roadways, car parks and pavements where long term durability is required, typically in shopping centres, apartments, schools/universities. ROADMASTER® A1 is suitable for projects of government departments, councils, schools and hospitals.
WEATHERMAX® HBR
WEATHERMAX® HBR has been locally developed for high build, hard wearing conditions. It is a high build re-coatable polyurethane coating designed to be used over a wide range of suitably primed substrates such as mild steel, galvanised steel, concrete and aluminium. WEATHERMAX® HBR is a high performance coating that exhibits excellent gloss and colour retention during extended service periods in severe industrial and marine environments and in extreme UV exposure. WEATHERMAX® HBR provides an effective barrier against graffiti and resists repeated cleaning by most propriety graffiti removal agents. WEATHERMAX® HBR is primarily used as a top coat over DUREBILD® STE to provide the ultimate combination for the hardest wearing, longest lasting lines.
PREFORMED THERMOPLASTIC
Preformed thermoplastic is a pre-made road marking product. All horizontal traffic signs, traffic symbols and traffic markings are available in this durable material. It is simply laid out and melted down with a gas burner to fix it in place. Preform is a permanent marking with long-term durability. The material fuses with the surface which helps ensure the longevity of the marking. Preform lasts 6–8 times longer than road markings which are painted on the road surface. Glass beads are evenly dispersed on the surface and all through the 3 mm preformed thermoplastic material to ensure optimum reflection during the product’s entire lifetime.
DUREBILD® STE
DUREBILD® STE has been developed specifically for Australasian conditions using advanced epoxy technology. It is principally used as a high performance maintenance coating providing tough, durable finish that is resistant to wearing. The high surface tolerance of DUREBILD® STE makes it suitable for a wide range of substrates. It can also be used for new work and as an intermediate coat. It provides excellent protection against splash and spillage of a wide range of chemicals. DUREBILD® STE can be top coated with a wide range of coating types and is available with a bloom-free cold cure hardener. DUREBILD® STE is primarily used in warehouses with polished concrete floors.
HOT-APPLIED THERMOPLASTIC
Hot-applied thermoplastic is a solid compound containing pigments, glass beads, binder and filler which becomes liquid when heated. It offers many important benefits in terms of road safety including its high level of wet night visibility and the fact that it can be applied as both flat and structured markings. The long lifespan of thermoplastic markings furthermore makes them a cost-effective solution as they demand less frequent maintenance or replacement.
COLD APPLIED PLASTIC
Cold Applied Plastic product comes in a two-component form, it is characterised by high durability, low abrasion and low dirt pickup. Cold applied plastic is generally used on main roads to form arrows, hatching, stop bars, give way bars and wording. Roll on cold applied plastic is often used for coloured surface treatments such as bike lanes and bus lanes. Cold applied lasts 6–8 times longer than road markings which are painted on the road surface. Glass beads are evenly dispersed on the surface and all through the material to ensure optimum reflection during the product’s entire lifetime.
